Every week your teachers will check your progress. You and your parents will be contacted by email if anything seems amiss either with your grades or your progress through your course(s). You can contact your teacher to request email, phone, or live conference if you have exhausted your efforts on a topic or assignment. Each teacher has a specific conference period and you will need to accommodate your teacher’s schedule for live help up to once per week per course. At times it will be beneficial to combine several students needing instruction on the same topic into one live session.
A teacher will contact you once a month via phone just to establish regular contact, and to encourage you in your progress. This is not a lengthy conference, but a short call with you and your parents to increase our awareness of your academic needs and interests. We want to create and maintain relationships with our families and students.
Your progress in each course will be evaluated at the end of each quarter. We will have a quarterly phone conference with parents to discuss your progress and goals.
Course work will need to be finished by May 27th this year. Your grades will be issued within one week of that date, and your transcript will be updated with your completed credits.
