The student body of Saint Joseph Catholic School is composed of students of all races and creeds from every socioeconomic group in the Jefferson County area. Students come to Saint Joseph not to “escape” something, but to “embrace” something; namely, an educational program conducted in a religious atmosphere protected from distraction and disorder by a strong disciplinary policy.

Our first obligation in accepting applicants is to the members of the Catholic parishes of Jefferson county. After these students have been assigned to their respective sections, we offer the remaining openings to our non-Catholic applicants.

All new students will be required to schedule an interview with the principal, Ms. Brenda Costello. Students will be accepted for admission because they are best qualified for the specific openings that exist and are considered to be able to adapt to our system.

Saint Joseph Catholic School is accredited by ANSAA (Arkansas Nonpublic Schools Accrediting Association) and is a member of the National Catholic Educational Association.
